bigquotesBinevenido called us up and said it's time to stick the frontflip "I don't wanna do it for the first time in front of a crowd, I want to deliver what I promised so let's do this... We said alright and just one week after a big shoot in Belluno, Italy with filmerforce at the cmyk compound we booked our flights to go even further south to Barcelona and support Bienve on his big mission. It all turned out great and after a few crazy crashes Bienve stuck the world's first double frontflip on a mountain bike after only 3 weeks of practice. So get ready to see this amazing trick being performed at the Masters of Dirt tour stops in Graz (February 25 and 26th 2011) and Vienna (March 12 and 13th, 2011) This is an absolute world premiere so gnarly that you can't miss it. Thanks to Bienve and his great family for the support and of course thanks to filmerforce! The video should be online in a few hours !

The past Tuesday, the 25th of January 2011, Bievenido Aguado landed the first double front flip on a mountain bike. He has been training very hard to get this trick works, and now he got it. In the next days you could see more progression of this natural talent on his bike, stay tuned!

 Sure he does a double front flip but the question is does he land it? The video sure as hell doesn't show him land it and the picture looks like it has had a major photoshop job. I'm going to say this is fake until we see a real video of him actually riding out from one.

 because it defeats the point of mountain biking, hes using a motor bike to help him get the speed he wouldn't otherwise have been able to reach. if it counts, why not have all dirtjump competitions 5times bigger and have the riders towed in?

 If you take that to it's limit then really anything that isn't on a "mountain" defeats the point of mountain biking... How is having a tow in any different than using a 6 story tall roll in ramp as far as "mountain biking" goes. I'm not trying to argue, more just curious about what makes something mountain biking, and therefore what defeats the point of it. Previously it's been agreed that what defines mountain biking is the type of bike you ride, primarily the wheel size. If you do a dirt jump on a 26 bike it's mountain biking, on 20 it's bmx. If you ride a 20 down a mountain it's still bmx. If you build a wooden ramp and ride your 26 hardtail on it it's mountain biking, even though it's got nothing to do with mountains... Is Aaron Chase's NWD part using a winch to tow him in not mtb either? just some food for thought...

He landed both feet on the pedals, both wheels on the ground, and rode away at least 50 ft from it. Also it would be hard to believe that a professional DJ rider could not ride away from a wobble such that he had. Disorder films, whos seen em? I think number 8 paul bass lands sideways off a 3 and rides away from it, and numerous other times they do it. Look at his front wheel, wheres it pointed? In the direction he wants to go of course, its legit, and his timing of jumping off the bike at the same time and running is legit too. I wanna see some vids of ya'll, hit a backflip then jump off your bike, bet ya can't do it and not fall on your face.

 lears we guarantee you it is made out of one sequence and not " stiched together of two different ones " as for him riding out he rode it out until the bottom of the landing and then jumped off because of exitement. you will see plenty complete videos of this jump soon we just aggreed with some guys not to show the landing at first. this is not fake he landed it and he will land many more at the masters of dirt shows. come on guys give it up for bienve and dont be silly talking about i dont believe this or "this is fake" cheers

 So...he doesn't land it but comes very close. They put together all of the clips and cut off the landing on every one of them. I don't know why this would be titled "first double front flip on a mountain bike" because I've seen it attempted before, but nobody has any video footage of somebody riding it off.

Everybody has to be thinking the same thing while watching this? I saw the attempts and got excited, then saw him atleast take the bike all the way around and start to hit land then it cuts off. I got a little more excited for the next shot in slo-mo, but still cut off the landing. Video fades out and credits appear, I see the video still has quite a bit of time left so I continue watching....then it ends. No proof of him landing it...

Awesome attempts either way, not taking anything from him at all...I think a lot of us would just like to see him ride off before he can take that title, that's it.

 with out showing him ride it out it doesn't count as the first! And they would have shown it if he did it. But he didn't yet so anything that shows up later wasn't filmed that day or else they would have put it in the video.

 It looks like to me that he did not land it, all the celebrating seems a bit forced. And on top of all the scene is cut right before the front wheel touches the ground, and he looks quite off balance, as if he`s going over the bars. Would like to see the uncut version tough.  Sucks that they didn't show the landing in the video, photo sequence is so poorly put together it's hard to tell anything really. It doesn't look like he got bucked looking at it in high res, it looks like he landed, rolled to the bottom and then jumped off the side. Like it's celebration time. I'll try to find out more tomorrow.

 I guess he landed and then jump off the bike celebrating his victory. Video edition is poor, i agree.

 MastersofDirt is now on Pink Bike, stoked about that. And in their comment in this thread they have confirmed what I said above. He did land it, rolled to the bottom then jumped off to celebrate. Additional video showing the landing should be available soon!
