The course started with this step down, then into a pair of fairly tight 20 foot doubles, followed by a vert quarter channel gap, then a roller and a smaller double, followed by another roller and a smaller quarter. |

| Anthony was boosting easily a foot or two higher than most riders on the vert wall channel gap, and carrying a lot of speed through the second half of the course because of it. His best trick of the day was probably a double truck on the jump you see here before the quarter. |

| This smaller jump in the second half of the course was a problem for a bunch of the riders. Mostly because if you made the tiniest mistake on the first couple of jumps and the vert wall channel gap, you didn't have enough speed to make it. Anthony Messere with enough speed to tailwhip over it. He also tailwhipped the step down... |

| Mitch Chubey was super smooth and carried a lot of speed through the whole course. Enough speed for huge tailwhip transfer out of the last quarter. He also 360 double whipped the second jump and pretty much rode it out. |

| A sunny day and a beer garden next to the course, thousands of people came out to have a good time and watch the action dockside. Crowds like this make it just a little bit easier to throw down your bigger tricks. |

| The event was in an incredibly scenic location, and thousands of spectators showed up to watch. Brandon Semenuk over the channel in front of the Parliament buildings... |

| Montgomery with the best trick win for his 720. I missed it completely while I was waiting for his flair over the channel gap. When I asked him why he didn't tell me he was going to do it, he said "I didn't really plan to do it, just kind of went for it all of a sudden" He landed the 720 smoothly enough to keep his speed up through the whole course and throw a flair over the channel at the end. You'll notice that his fork is bent in this photo, the last thing he tried was a huge flip bar hop, he got it all the way around but ended up 50/50 casing the landing and burying his chainring all the way to the bb. The forks didn't make it... |
