The 2011 Claymore Challenge has been postponed for yet another day as rain continues to keep the course unrideable. A rider meeting tomorrow is scheduled for tomorrow at 11AM EST and a tentative schedule has been set with practice from 5PM-7PM followed by 2 Run Finals (under the lights) at 7PM.

Pray for good weather everyone, we want this event to go off!!!

The event will be broadcast LIVE here on Pinkbike, stay tuned for more details on the webcast. The schedule may have to be adjusted once the final weather report comes in, but for now this is the plan.

just out of curiosity, is zink on a protoype evil or something else

flag Da-Moose (Jun 24, 2011 at 23:10)
no, from what i hear they didn't get his proto slope frame out in time, so his riding his old corsair, the dominion i think it was called. It might be the bike he rode in rampage but im not to certain, but it is that type of bike, because it has the super adjustable travel for DH, FR, and SS...

flag IanHylands Mod Plus (Jun 24, 2011 at 15:32)
It's a game called either stump or Hammerschlagen
  • + 1
flag Milo123 (Jun 24, 2011 at 15:32)
its a game to see who can hammer a nail down the furthest in one stroke
  • + 4
flag Eyon (Jun 24, 2011 at 15:33)
why not? its an awesome game when fueled with beer. They are cheating and using a bigger end of the hammer, make it better by using the small end of a cross peen hammer, with more beer.

 for fun duuh

flag IanHylands Mod Plus (Jun 24, 2011 at 15:38)
yeah normally you use the thin end of a cross peen hammer and if you miss the nail you have to have a drink. First one to get their nail all the way in wins, at least in Hammerschlagen which is what we normally play. Stump is different.
